Q. I have heard many times that there were multiple churches in each of the seven churches (Philadelphia had more than one church, and more than one church in Ephesus). What is your take on this?
A. No matter how many buildings we occupy there is only one Church. When Jesus wrote to the Church at Ephesus, for example, He was writing to the believers who lived in Ephesus. All the believers in all the locations were supposed to read all the letters, so if there was more than one congregation in a given city, it wouldn't have made any difference.
